Nominee Eligibility Verification

Please confirm the candidate satisfies the following qualifications:

Has the nominee demonstrated competence through professional activities for at least 10 years?

Is the nominee currently a CTRS® or formerly certified as a CTRS® before retirement?

Where applicable does the nominee hold a state license, registration or certification in compliance with state regulations?

Is the nominee willing to further the goals of NART and participate in its activities?

Formal Letter

Provide a formal nomination letter from a current member of the Academy. This letter should provide information that documents a minimum of two of the following:

(a) quality as well as quantity of contributions to the literature of the profession;

(b) recognition of leadership and extensive participation in professional associations and organizations;

(c) acknowledged outstanding performance as a teacher, leader, administrator, practitioner, or researcher in the field of recreational therapy.
